Yummy Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

April 30th 2008 09:43
Article compiled from Cancer Project

I remembered I have posted a few more smoothie recipes and now we have added the blueberry into the smoothie list. In 2006 I have touched a subject about coloured fruits, and if you haven’t read it before please feel free to read the article – Fill your health with colours: True Blue

As you all know, smoothies are a delicious way to add healthful fruits to your diet. Frozen fruit, especially frozen bananas, make it possible to create thick, low-fat smoothies. Start with bananas that have brown speckles, as these are sweet and ripe. Peel, then break them into chunks and arrange on a baking sheet or tray to freeze. Once frozen, pack loosely into freezer bags or plastic storage containers. Frozen berries can be purchased in most supermarkets and natural food stores. To freeze your own, loosely pack clean, dry berries in a freezer bag or plastic storage container.

For a thick smoothie that can be eaten with a spoon, use the minimum amount of non-dairy milk necessary for blending. If you like a thinner smoothie, simply add a bit more non-dairy milk.

Counterfeit Eggs – True or Hoax?

Replicating items is one of the most challenging arts anyone can face. I for one am not good at it. When you see those like the fake sushi sets / other types of food replicated for display purpose it does come in handy as cooks and restaurants don’t have to cook a display food all over again that doesn’t last by the end of the day.

Simple Marinara Recipe

People always says vegetarians tend to loose the colours of food in life, it need not necessary be true unless you’ve chosen the path of a true Buddhist who practises non-spices meals.

This is the same to cancer survival patients – it isn’t the end of the world towards “death to taste
