“A few times of smile per day, keeps the doctor away!” From here, we know that smiling it’s an essential daily routine. With only a single smile, our life will become even better and beautiful.
Do you know that there is a kind of therapy named “Smile Therapy”, where the main purpose of Smile Therapy is practicing how to smile while you’re inhaling your breath! In India, there is an advancement type of smile therapy, which called “Laughter Therapy”. In the Laughter Therapy Club, all of the participants/members have to laugh as loud as they can!
Although smiling is good for our health, but some people are too afraid to smile. It is because they’re born with crooked teeth and they don’t themselves to be embarrassed. Hence, they rarely smile even they’re having the most happiness moments in their life!
Denise, my beloved cousin, was one of the former victims of the crooked teeth. She always being teased by her classmates and neighbors for having the ugly crooked teeth. To be honest, she was quite upset about this situation. She expressed all the indignant on her belongings, by crushing all the stuffs all over her room everyday!
I sensed the danger and told their parents to do something with her. However, my uncle and aunt didn’t know what to do to calm down her temper. In this case, I volunteered myself to help them. Denise have dental phobia and it’s very hard to persuade her to go to the dental clinic. However, I managed to advise her to have a dental checkup at the local dental clinic (Maybe Denise only listens to my words, as we’re both like sibling since childhood?)
During the dental checkup, the dentist, Mr. Kenneth told Denise that her crooked teeth weren’t too serious and it can be fixed by wearing dental braces on it. Denise was overjoyed when she heard what the dentist said, and she’s crying in tear of joy on the spot!
Before leaving, the dentist told Denise that it’s better for her to buy a dental insurance. The dental insurance will help the insurer protect against any unwanted teeth or gum diseases. We did take the dentist’s advice and I bought Denise a nice present (Denise’s birthday was on 18th March!): A pair of new dental braces and a set of dental insurance.
Last week, Denise has dropped me a call. She told that with the new dental braces, she’s now can smile widely and happily than ever before. I told her to be patient, as in few more years; she can take off the dental braces and having a sparkling white teeth.
We both laughed on each other through the phone…
