When we’re still babies, our parents love to put the talcum powder on our body, every time after bath. Due to it’s ability resistant to moisture, it frequently being used as the baby powder, medicated powder and perfumed powder.
Do you know where talc comes from? For your information, talc is a mineral that being produced by the mining of talc rocks. Raw talc will be processed by crushing, drying and milling. Although there are many trace minerals have been eliminated during the process, but it still contain some fibers that are very similar to asbestos inside talc!
Asbestos has been known as one of the most dangerous substances, where it can cause different types of cancers, if we are being exposed onto it daily. The truth is, talc’s form is relatively closer to the carcinogen asbestos, where it has the potential to lead the users to certain types of cancers, such as ovarian and lung cancers!
Therefore, for your precaution, please say “NO” to talcum powder…
