Can You Sense “Smell of Fear” Through Sweat?

March 10th 2009 06:25
Back to our schooling age, where we’re being told by our science or biology teachers that many animals are releasing some chemical substances as a warning signal to members of their own species, either to be prepared for runaway or fight back against the danger!

A researcher from Rice University, Denise Chen pointed out that human beings have the same reaction as the other animals did, where we’ll release some “fearful sweat” when we’re frightening or being threatened by others!

After being through very long and repeated tests, Chen claimed that human sweat contains emotional meanings and it can demonstrate many other social smells, instead of fearful sweat.

Although the “Smell of Fear” is not too strong amongst the human beings, but the sense of smell did shed us some light here. It shows that human being is also part of this miracle animal kingdom…
