Article referred from Air Duct Cleaning website
When we talk about dust, mould and mites it’s most of the time pretty nasty and we need to know that we cannot take things for granted and thought that air purifiers will just do all the work. It is quite true, but we have forgotten where the air pollutants in the air-conditioners / air purifiers go. They actually stayed in the filters…
Did You Know?
Legionnaire's Disease, which can be caused by improper maintenance of cooling towers and HVAC systems, strikes 25,000 People and kills over 4,000 people per year. (Centres for Disease Control - CDC)
Ok, our homes do not have 25,000 workers inside, but we do have precious living people who we care are staying with us everyday. You will never know how simple can this cause a vital health problem to our love ones.
Here are some simple steps to clean your own air condition at home (although I improvised from the professional sites)
- Clean the cooling coils with a vacuum and a coil cleaner.
- Wash Register with Dynamite cleaner and rinse.
You should do this at least once a month if you use the air conditioner every day.
