Do You Know You Can Use Salt For…

Do you know that you can use the salt for many other purposes in your daily life, instead of using it as foods seasoning?

Keep your eye open, as here are the 25 uses of salt:

1. You can clean the egg stain away with the help of salt! Just pour the salt all over the egg, and leave it for at least 30 minutes. Then, you can use a dustpan and remove the egg stain from the floor without a mess.
2. You can sprinkle salt on your shelves (This can keep the ants away from it!).
3. Remember to soak stained handkerchief in salt water for at least 30 minutes before washing.
4. You can add salt to your favorite green salads, as this way can prevent wilting!

5. Salt is the ultimate tester for eggs. All you have to do is put the egg in a cup of salt water. If you find that the egg is sinking, then it is fresh egg or otherwise.
6. When you’re cooking eggs, put a teaspoon of salt to the boiling water into it.
7. What to beat up much fluffier egg whites? Then, you should sprinkle a pinch of salt into it.
8. You can soak the wrinkled apples in a mildly salted water, where it will make the wrinkled apples becoming perk again.
9. If you don’t want the pancake stick on the pancake griddle, then you should rub some salt on it.
10. When you’ve decided to use a new toothbrush, remember to soak the new toothbrush in salted water at least one day, as it will last longer.
11. Is it hard to remove all those stains on coffee port? Just grab a pinch of salt and wash it.
12. You can mix salt with turpentine to whiten your dirty bathtub and toilet bowl.
13. Boil clothes pins in salt water, before using them to keep them last longer.




14. You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars buying the cleaner for brass, copper or pewter! All you need here is a mixture of flour, vinegar and salt. These three combination can clean any stains.
15. Your carpet is full of coffee or food stains? Don’t worry, it’s time to pour a mound of salt on the stains and leave it for 30 minutes. Then, you can remove it easily!
16. Your iron is getting dirty stain sticking on it? Well, you can clean it by rubbing some salt on the damp cloth on the ironing surface.
17. If you’re using the double boiler to cook foods, then you can add a little salt to the water, where it will make the food cook faster and saving more energy.
18. If you’re a pianist (or you have a set of piano in your home), then you can use a mixture of salt and lemon juice to clean the piano keys.
19. You can rinse your sore eye with a little salt water.
20. The weeds has becoming a problem to you in your lawn? Then, you can use salt to kill weeds in your lawn.
21. Sprinkle a little salt on your toothbrush, as it can be a good tooth polisher.
22. You can eliminate suds with a little of salt.
23. A dash of salt in warm milk will give you a better good night sleep!
24. Soak the glasses in the warm salty water to remove all the dirt and stains.
25. Put a mildly salt on the fruits after peeling, as it can prevent it from discolor.

Now we know why salt used to be the international currency and why people were paid their wages with it.

It was a great preservative before refrigeration and ice.
