Go Sisters, Go!

May 14th 2009 20:39
Recently, a research group from The University of Ulster discovered that those families that have more than one daughter are having a better chance to eliminate all the stresses away.

The research was based on a quiz to 571 people who aged 17 to 25 about their daily life. The outcome of the quiz shows that those who grew up with sisters were happier and less stresses than others!

Professor Tony Cassidy, the lead researchers of the quiz mentioned that sisters having a higher chance of encourage more conversation amongst the family members. In this case, brothers are mostly keeping the problems all by themselves and rarely speak out in front of their family!

So, what’s your opinion about this new discover? Do you agree with the above statements? Please speak out your mind and we’re going to discuss it further…

I think that it's dead on! Everyone knows that women are good to talk to and are very good listeners to those who want to share their problems and concerns.
Talking out your problems is always one good way to eliminate stress and get things off your chest.

My brother always calls me up when he needs to discuss the "deeper" things on his mind, and it always makes him feel better!
Great article!

I think there is an element of truth here, Wilson, but most families really need to learn to communicate and discuss things together. It was a problem in my house, I admit.

Diva, in this case, I bet you must be a very good and patient listener! Yep, it's wise to speak out our problems, than keep it all by yourself! According to the survey, 80% of the bipolar disorder patients are due to the inability to spite out their problems to other person!

Katyzzz, you should try your best to communicate much with your family, as it really can help to boost up the relationship with your family.
