Sex problems: Wait! I need to pee…
October 24th 2006 09:15
Since there are a lot of posts in the blog talks a lot more about sex issues, I came across this Q & A over an old health magazine and I think it is useful to know, especially for women, when you are having intimacy with your partner or spouse.
Q: I am always in pain when having sex with my boyfriend and there is the feeling of going to the toilet to pee. Halfway during sex, we have to stop. Even if I pee before sex, it is still the same.
Sometimes when I go for a pee, nothing comes out. Often, a week after sex, I suffer from thrush. Is it normal to have thrush after sex? Is there any thing to worry about?
Recently, I am taking anti-acne medication containing yeast. Is there a connection? Please advice.
A: The reason of your situation could be due to the position of the womb (uterus) or the sexual position. Whatever it is, this pressure affecting the bladder (which lies in front of the womb).
Thrush occurs due to fungal infection and this should not happen. You should consult a doctor for the thrush (to confirm this and treat it) and also your pain and purge to pee during sex.
I am not sure which medication you are talking about with regards to acne medicine that contains yeast. It is a supplement or natural products? I cannot comment without the knowledge of the content of ‘acne medicine’.
Well, although it doesn’t say much of the medication part, but we do know that if the position during intercourse or of your womb position is rather lower it might affect the bladder’s pressure. So if you have such encounter you’d at least know that it isn’t normal and consultation from the doctor is needed.

This is a good article to learn about. And now I know what is going on with my body if I have such symptoms when having sex with my boyfriend.
Good digging, keep up the good work!
Take care!
