Healthy juices recipes for you: Part 1

As I was saying a little earlier about the importance of juices, and the unexpected visiting trip at Mr. Mak’s restaurant, Everfresh Juice Station & Grill, I manage to get a few pretty good recipes that Mr. Mak has generously shared with me. He is never stingy in promoting good health and he hoped that the combination of juices would help you to fight cancer and boost your immune system.
Healthy juices
Combinations of fruits and vegetables

Body Cleansing Tonic
Carrot, Cucumber and Beet mix
- Great for cleaning internal organs like liver, kidney and gallbladder
Mineral Tonic
Carrot, celery, spinach and parsley mix
- For those who needs a lot more calcium in the body
Liver mover
Apple and beet mix
- Great to improve liver capability
Pick-me-up Energy cocktail
Carrot and parsley mix
- Great when you feel a little tired, or after long hours of work.
Calming nightcap
Carrot, apple and celery mix
- For those who have trouble sleeping.
Digestive tonic
Carrot and spinach mix
Personal note:
- The names above are all the reserved names for the restaurant of Everfresh Juice Station and Grill.
- The proportion depends on each individual, but in general, you follow the combination of a larger amount, medium amount and little amount. The fruits / vegetables listed in order follows that category. Mr. Mak uses oz to weigh the proportion. For example, the body-cleansing tonic has about 10oz of carrot, 6-8oz of cucumber and 1oz of beet.
- For those who have lower haemoglobin count or lower blood pressure can include 1oz wheat grass in any combination of drinks above to help boost up and stabilise blood count.
- Do not mix with alcohol. It will derive the purpose!

Great to know that you find the juice mixes interesting. I have tried Body Cleansing Tonic and it taste interesting with an oz of wheat grass.
Do stay tuned for the part 2 version that I am struggling to get it up through this horrid Internet connection. ^_^

Yes, do let the kids get use to the juices in an earlier age so that they'll charish the veges and fruits more. There are too much junk food floating around and antioxidants are important in our body to keep those junks turn to potential illnesses.
