When you’re reading the blogpost’s title, you might think I’m totally out of my mind, as it’s impossible for the human beings, especially the adults to get infected by parasites! Well, don’t be so sure yet…
A research team from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic had revealed the shocking truth! They discovered that toxoplasma, which is a type of parasite that being found in cat faeces, might lead one person’s acting reckless in the daily tasks.
Jaroslav Flegr, the leader of the research group pointed out that toxoplasma can affect our brain, where is making our brain slowly react to the unpredictable or sudden happened incidents! Those people who always have had car accidents are most likely have been infected by toxoplasma.
Believe it or not, Flegr mentioned that up to a million of the world’s annual road deaths are mainly caused by the toxoplasma infection.
According to the latest news, Flegr and the team have trying to develop the cure/antidote to inhibit the growth of toxoplasma in human’s body.
