Red Alert to all Red Meat Eaters!

April 17th 2009 10:34
I read a research from the local website and found out a shocking truth about the red meat. The studies have shown that the great Aussie barbecue (BBQ) could killing you softly with its carcinogens substances!

For those that love barbecuing the red meat, you should better watch out, as it has been identified as the main causes of most cancers! Beside that, the happening rate of heart attacks is higher among the red meat eaters.

The experts advised us to eat white meat (poultry and fish) regularly than red meats, as white meat is a lot healthier and the eaters have less chance of getting cancers.

However, the experts said it’s better to change our diet into the healthier plant-based diet slowly.

PS: Picture thanks to examiner.

Well, I'm having steak for tea with ten cigarettes and as far as health experts go, they're all a bunch of tossers.

One day margarine is better than butter. The next day butter is better for you than margarine. And these people get paid to do research? And publish "scientific" reports? Again. A bunch of toss. Give me Sam Kekovich's meat ads any day.

What next? Lion on the Serenghetti plain dies of cancer due to eating gazelle?

Elephants to ban smoking in upper Nepal?

Walking on sidewalk cracks causes cancer?

When will this rubbish end?

I actually love red meat, although I don't consume it on a daily basis. I think in moderation consuming red meat is OK and alleviates the problem of having to focus on other things for iron as one example.

Too much of it is certainly not good but I think in moderation it is OK and certainly very enjoyable.

My very expensive N.Y. cut of steak went down so well last night Wilson - surely it can't be bad for me. It was the nicest cut of meat EVER
I do normally live on chicken and occasionally fish with the once a month splurge on avery nice cut of red meat - this baby was 8cm thick and YUM!!!!

LHM, take it easy, mate. I know you're a little bit pissed off here about the fact, and you absolutely have the right to speak out your frustration as well! Just remember that you should drink more tea, if you want to consume red meat, as it helps to clean all those carcinogen away from your body.

Whitney, is this mean you're a Vegan or...?

Janet, I couldn't more agree with you here. We will be death, if we drink a huge amount of water in a very short period! Take it moderately and we should be fined.

Jason, oh my, I sensed that you're trying to allure me with the 8cm thick steak here, you know I have a rather weak resistance on delicious foods! lol

Guys, thanks for the comments and I very appreciated indeed.

Meat is murder - tasty tasty murder Give me a juicy medium rare chunk of cow any day. It can't be any worse for me than the daily pollution I breathe in.

LHM, sometimes, it's very harsh to tell the truth, but I hope it won't offense you here!

Cheryl, love it or hate it, we still have to live with the assorted of meat everyday...

Guys, I knew this topic might be a little bit controversial here, and I hope I didn't hurt anyone feeling. And, if I did, I apologize to you all!

LHM, yeah, just lived up your life and do whatever you want to do, as long you're not doing the illegal stuffs!

Someone, it seems that the temptation is everywhere and you should better stay away from it, if you don't to be influenced by it. lol (Just kidding!)
