The Ways I Battled Against My Hideous Acne!

December 6th 2008 11:09
Talking about the acne, I'm sure that almost everyone here has faced this situation before, especially during teenager ages. Although acne is a very common problem that happened to more than 80% of teenagers, but it's still a very embarrassed moment to most of the teenagers!

Being one of the victims of the acne, I've going through a very tough high school period, where everyday I'll hear all the teasing and sarcasm coming from all over the classroom and dining hall!

The worst thing is my acne is not the ordinary acne vulgaris, but the cystic acne that also known as nodulocystic acne. Cystic acne is a severe form of acne, where the acne will develop into many small cysts. Since the cysts can grow up to several millimeters in diameter, I was suffering a very painful moment. In addition, with all those unmerciful criticisms from my classmates, I was lacking of self-confident and don't want to go to the school or streets in a certain period!

Although I've tried much different acne treatment, but the cystic acne nightmare keeps haunting me around...

Sometimes, there is still some miracle happened on us. Thanks to Cassie, my former lovely 9th grade classmate, she was sympathy about my condition and she has introduced me the best and effective acne products.

I remembered her advice that if we want to overcome the acne problem, we should follow these basic steps:

Firstly, we should cleanse and remove all the excess oil and unclogs hair follicles with acne cleanser.

Secondly, we need to apply the acne moisturizer to help reduce skin inflammation.

Thirdly, put on some acne clarifying lotion, which it can help prevent clogged pores.

Last but not the least; remember to use the acne renewing exfoliant to promote shedding of dead skin cells and growth of new collagen!

Also, don't forget to drink at least eight glasses of water everyday to improve your skin condition. As those skins that lack of water will be ageing even faster than those that drink eight glasses of clean water regularly!

Great post, Wilson, but some acnes do require the use of special anibiotics as such cases can be very severe. The advice of a skin specialist should be sought and put into action.

You're right about it, Katyzzz. For your information, the cystic acne is more painful than the ance vulgaris. Although I did used some antibiotics, but it seems has no effect on it either...
