Time to Rejuvenate Aging Problem with Your Mind!

June 15th 2009 08:07
You’re frustrated and upset with the wrinkles on your face, the painful arthritis and unattractive bulging body-shaped? Honestly, the more you’re thinking about the disadvantages of your own body, then the problem would be going to get worse!

According to Ellen Langer, a Harvard University psychologist and professor, has been discovered that the mind has a very unbelievable “power”. It can help us to overcome many problems, such as lack of self-confidence, eliminate the bad habits and even stop the aging problem!

Believe it or not, Langer did a research study on two group of old people. One group is placed and isolated from the modern world. They’re being told that they’ve traveled back in time 20 years earlier. In the meantime, the other group is living their life as usual.

After one week, those men who being isolated from the modern life have been found had more joint flexibility, less arthritis and faster dexterity than before. Furthermore, 80% of them claimed that they’re feeling 20 years younger, after they spent the whole week in the room with all those stuffs 20 years earlier!

Well, for some of you here, it might sounds like the “Tales from 1001 Arabian Nights”. However, it’s nothing wrong to try it, as it didn’t have any side effect to your body, isn’t it?

Maybe, a quick of 10 – 15 minutes of meditation per day will make your feeling refreshing and rejuvenate again…

Who's ageing around it, YOU? oh well, looks like you'll be meditating, Wilson. Just watch those years roll away.

That 10-15 minutes sounds like a really good idea. We always tend to think there is much more to it. Great stiff!

Hehe, Katyzzz. Everyone is aging, although it's a little bit harsh, but it's the truth!

Yep, Janet. Would you want to get onto the meditation lead as well?
