As the human being’s civilization advancing day after day, there are many people, especially the younger generation starting to have the vision related problems. According to the latest study, 101 million of the U.S citizens are wearing glasses or contact lenses, due to the assorted vision matters. This means that about 33% of the U.S citizens won’t able see the things clearly, without the aid of glasses or contact lenses!

Honestly, it sounds horrible and terrify to me, when I found out I’ve to wear the glasses in my younger age. As we all know, those glasses in 80’s are totally big, heavy and hideous. For this reason, I was always being teased as the “Book worm specky” in my class (Believe me, this is the worst nightmare that I ever have and it has haunted me for couple of years!)

Thanks to the advancement of technology, I finally can throw the ugly glasses away and put on the contact lenses. Honestly, I’ve tried several contact lenses, and I must say that Acuvue contact lenses are my first choice!

By the way, do you know what “Bifocals” is? For your information, bifocals are the eyeglasses whose corrective lenses contain regions with two distinct optical powers. Most of the time, bifocals are mainly prescribed to people with presbyopia. The word, “Presbyopia” is used to describe the condition, where the eye exhibits a progressively diminished ability to focus on near objects, especially when the people starting to aging. The presbyopia become worsening due to the aging problem and most people started to notice it around the ages of 40-50 (Both of my parents were the victims of this presbyopia!). In order to overcome this problem, the people that have presbyopia have to wear the bifocals, where it can help to fix the user’s vision.

If you’re the party animals (like me) or just want to light up the boring weekdays, then you might consider to change your ordinary contact lenses into the freshlook colored contacts. I’m sure that it will leave a deep impact to everyone when they look into your eyes!

Remember, once you’ve being diagnosed by the optician that you have to put on a glasses or contact lenses, then you should follow their instruction. Take their advice, as it only benefit you in the end!

Vision Care is Essential to Everyone!

Eyes, where it also referred as "the window to the soul," are one of the most important parts of our main organs. Honestly, can you ever imagine the life of the blind people? I've seen this unfortunate people before, and I guarantee that you won't even want to try it, as the world of extremely black/dark is very misery indeed...

Due to the advancement of technology, many people in nowadays have been awarded a gift, eyeglasses! According to the research, 1 out of 3 people has been diagnosed with the short-sightedness or Myopia, and this is mainly happening to children. Well, the scientists discovered that those children that wearing glasses were mostly spending their time watching TV programmes in a very near distance, where less than 5 meters.

The short-sightedness or myopia won't have any impact in the very beginning to the person, but when the times going on, the person eyeball become longer and the cornea is becoming too curved than before. Hence, all the images that supposed to be focused on the retina, has only focuses in front of the retina! When this happened, the person's vision will become blur and unclear as the normal person that has perfect vision.

At this point, you don't have many choices. If you're too afraid to undergo the LASIK surgery, (Ok, I admitted that I'm one of the people that scared of the surgery! lol) then you can either choose to wear glasses or contact lenses. Different types of people have different kind of favor. Some of you might have the thought that contact lenses are more comfortable than the glasses, while others will think that the glasses is somehow cooler and stylish than the contact lenses.

I have both the contact lenses and eyeglasses, where I always wearing my glasses to the workplace (high school), as I think that teacher is much better to have a glasses hanging on their face! When I'm out for leisure or entertainment, I mostly put on my contact lenses.

No matter what you're choice is, you should take care of your eyes, as once you've spoiled your cornea, then you'll never get it back...
